Just Resting Your Eyes

You lay there with a gleam in your eye, but yet your quite still to the touch of a fly. You feel a tiny whisk of someone very small, they almost touch your face but then they back away and call out! Grandma are you awake or are you sleeping? You are very still and muster the courage so as not to laugh!

The voice calls out again, Grandma are you awake or are you sleeping? This time they brush your cheek ever so gently. Their lips so close to your face the cool air brings a chill. But yet you are elusive to not move even an inch. Now you feel yourself quiver as you hold back a laugh. It is not very easy to hold it back but you must.

They walk away toward the kitchen talking. I can't believe she can sleep so soundly. Those cookies smell so good. I can not hardly stand it! Don't you dare take one she will know and then will both catch it. Maybe we should try again to see if she is awake. The smell of those cookies is so delicious, my stomach is starting to ache. I just really can't wait!

Just then they heard a sigh I think Grandma is awake, lets go see. She rolls over, turns and looks up straight at me. For heaven sake how long have you been standing there? Not very long , not very long at all, Grandma. I drempt that a bug was crawling across my face. No Grandma is what not a bug at all it was just me.

I could not hold back I was almost in tears. I had to tell them that I was playing a trick on them you see. When you walked up to me I was really awake! It took all that I could do not laugh in your faces. But now the joke is over. Lets get those cookies before you bust! Does that sound good?

Yes, Grandma that would be great your cookies are so very good! They are the best.

Where have you been all day? Sometimes you just have to get away. So the when was with my relatives over the weekend having a great time. I hope everyone had a chance to take the time to remember someone that you loved dearly and want to not ever forget their gift to your life.

There are so many people that I will cherish even though they are gone. They will never be forgotten because they added something to my heart and life that was very wonderful. I spent time visiting my grand parents. We also took time to visit our parents which also had a deep impact on my life.

Where have you been all day? How did you spend this memorial weekend? Did you spend it with someone that needed comforting or just to be close. Immunization Right or Wrong?

Some children can get a vaccination but others can not tolerate it at all. We are a public that has inoculated our citizens from deadly virus' to protect the population from epidemics. The strains of these diseases are getting stronger to the point of not being able to cure the disease.

There are still others that do not believe in putting medication of any sort in there bodies. This only the strong survive method seems very cruel but people have beliefs. Maybe we are wrong to try and save everyone with medicine. Do you believe this is Gods way to govern the population on the earth? Some do.

Sometimes keeping someone alive is cruel and selfish! We love someone that is so deformed they are not recognizable as human beings. Is it fair to make them live and suffer. This is a very hard and confusing decision to have to make for someone.

Most times these human beings must be kept on machines to make them breath. Maybe they need to have there blood cleaned every month to keep them alive. Medicine is a miracle and it is a blessing to someone suffering with horrendous pain. But do we have the right to keep someone living with a machine or medication.

I know this first hand because my wife was in a coma for almost three weeks. I prayed, I cried and I suffered an agony like I have never felt in my life. The lord sent her back to me but she has to take a lot of medicine and she is in pain. This is why I say do we have the right!

We love them so much that we can not live without them but are we just being selfish. She is the most wonderful woman you could ever meet. She always thinks of what she can do to help someone else or how we can make it better for our family. Does it sound like someone in your life.

What worries me are diseases that we have no control over! Because people can be as strong as and Ox or maybe are in a weakened state. Fighting off even a mild virus can be deadly. So I guess what I am trying to say it is your belief or faith that is the final maker of all our decisions. For me there is only one creator.

We live with our decisions and we hope they are the right answers for the people we love!

Do you have command of your life?

What you do with your life is very important। Do you race home each day to plopp down on your favorite chair। Do you pop open one of your favorite beverages। Then you open several more cans until you pass out and forget what happened to the day। Your life would have been so much better if you had went outside and sat on the lawn and took in deep breathes of fresh air।

Are you still hiding in the closet or the garage puffing away on those sticks of tobacco one after the other! It stinks all over your clothing and in your hair। The horrible part is that you make others endure your pain। The other thing is there are not to many places where you can go anymore in this world.
